Khadijah who is now 8-months-old, is currently being treated at a hospital in Kano after 
undergoing surgery, as her parents are unable to hire any legal representative due to lack of funds.

SHE has promised to be “less sexy” after she got banned from working for a year over Facebook posts the country’s Ministry of Culture says were too raunchy.

Actress Denny Kwan, 24, who has starred in several music videos, was punished because the ministry judged that she had failed to keep a written promise she made last May to dress in a less sexy way.

According to RT.com, chief of the disciplinary council, Chamroeun Vantha, said to The Phnom Penh Post:

“The council members decided to punish Denny Kwan by not [allowing her] any activities in the entertainment industry for one year, such as filming, karaoke and singing performances on TV.” 

The actress has accepted the one-year ban.

“I know it’s my right to [dress how I want], but our culture, Cambodian people, cannot accept it,” she said. “I will try not to be [as] sexy as I usually am when I post on Facebook.”

The ministry claims the sanction was in accordance with its Artists’ Ethical Code of Conduct, which encourages artists to dress with their personal dignity and national identity in mind.

Those sentiments were backed up by Pon Putborei, a spokesman for the Ministry of Women’s Affairs who said that, as a public figure, Kwan doesn’t have the right to wear whatever she wants.

“She needs to be careful with our culture,” Putborei said.👍👍

However Thida Khus, of women’s right’s group Silaka, described the situation as “gender discrimination.”

“This situation only happens to women, and it’s gender discrimination,” she said. “It’s a violation of gender equality. Women are the ones prone to this.”

Conservative attitudes towards women are deeply rooted in Cambodian society. This is reflected particularly strongly in attitudes to women’s dress.

Veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday at age 70. He was  a very seasoned actor👍👌 who interpreted his role really well. I always enjoyed watching his movies 😭😭Khanna. He was suffering from advanced bladder carcinoma, breathed and finally passed away at 11.20 am ...cancer has no fear...love nor respect. Even a great actor like Vinod was down with it.         Khanna made his debut in films in 1968, after which he went on to become one of the Hindi film industry’s biggest stars over two decades.
He is remembered for his performances in “Mere Apne” (My Own), “Mera Gaon Mera Desh” (My Village, My Country) in which he played the role of a villain, “Kucche Dhage” (Fragile Thread)” and “Achanak” (Suddenly).

Khanna married twice 💑💑and has four children,👭👬 including actor Akshaye Khanna. Khanna, who was also a film producer and a politician, died at the HN Reliance Foundation hospital, a hospital spokesman confirmed.
He was a sitting member of the Lok Sabha, or the lower house of parliament, and represented India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

It is confirmed that Funke Akindele andJuliana Olayode, who plays Toyo Baby onJenifa’s Diary, have parted ways.
According to TNS sources, Funke Akindele removed Toyo Baby from the series over what the latter termed ‘bad pay’.

The source revealed that Toyo Baby was cut off from the popular TV series for requesting an increment in pay which didn’t go well with Funke Akindele who feels she’s an ingrate being that Olayode rose to stardom through her appearances on the show.
Sources close to SceneOneProductions, producers of Jenifa’s Diary, further revealed to TNS that the producer of the show, Funke Akinkele via her production manager and younger sister – Abimbola – pays actors between N3,000 and N150,000 (per episode/season of the show) depending on the role.

‘Mind you, it wasn’t my 1^st time acting but the feeling of being on Jenifa’s diary was a big deal for me. I was asked to come with five different party costumes.
‘Location was Amen Estate, Eleko. After filming with over 30 girls the whole night, Funke came to address us and advice that money shouldn’t be our priorities at this stage; that was when it occurred to me that something  awkward was about to happen….just then, the Production Manager, Mr Osmond whispered something to Funke’s sister, Abimbola and she started paying us each 3K. Can u imagine? 3K for all night shoot!…on Jenifa’s Diary!…
‘I was so mad, some of us had to turn down the money shaa….couldn’t face my mom to explain to her what happened the next morning.’

Juliana Olayode was visibly absent in a recent photoshoot held for the upcoming season.

According to our findings, actors Lota Chukwu, Omotunde Lolo 1, Falz (who has also left the show) and Olayode are the highest paid actors who take home N150,000 per season. The rest take home much lesser money.
Stars like Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa and others who have had cameo appearances on the show reportedly got between N100,000 and N300,000 for ‘showing face’.

Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins.

Moreover , Mariam has a non- supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. Her eldest son , Charles Musisi, 23 , confirmed: “ Our siblings do not know what father looks like . I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again . ”
As a parting shot , Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children.

Miriam Meckel, who is the editor of German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche, asked Ivanka:

"You are first daughter -- German audience not familiar -- what is your role -- to whom are you represented? Your father, the American people, or your business?"

"Well, certainly not the latter, and I am rather unfamiliar with this role as well, as it is quite new to me". "It has been a little under 100 days, but it is just been a remarkable, an incredible journey." "So it's very early for me. I'm listening, I'm learning, I'm defining the ways in which I think I'll be able to have impact," she added.
As soon as she started describing her father as an advocate for women,the audience interrupted her and let out boos during a discussion on paid leave. She said:

CAUGHT: Two Brazilians Have Been Arrested By NDLEA For Importing N310million Canned Cocaine Into Nigeria

Two Brazilians were arrested by the Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos State, for unlawful importation of cocaine into the country.

The suspects, who claimed to be tourists, had allegedly smuggled the drug weighing 23.9 kilogrammes in sealed cans into the country.

Punch Metro learnt that the narcotic, which was estimated at N310m, was found in their luggage during the screening of passengers on arrival at the airport.
The suspects were identified as Cristina Dos Santos, 36, and 20-year-old Lima Diego. While Dos Santos was found with 9.4kg of cocaine, 14.5kg of the drug was intercepted from Diego.

The NDLEA Commander at the Lagos airport, Ahmadu Garba, said the arrest took place during the inward screening of passengers on an Emirates flight.
He said, “Two Brazilians, a male and a female, have been arrested with cocaine. The suspects travelled from Sao Paulo, Brazil. During a search operation, a total of 23.865kg of canned cocaine was found on them.
  “This is the first arrest of Brazilians with cocaine at the airport. The cans were factory-sealed such that officers had to cut them open to discover the concealed drugs. This development did not come as a surprise to narcotic investigators because drug cartels are always adopting new strategies of smuggling drugs. The suspects said they were in Nigeria to visit tourist centres.”
The NDLEA Chairman, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (retd.), who described the arrest and seizure as impressive, called on nations to intensify the anti-narcotics campaign.
“This is a clarion call for nations to work harder and deepen collaboration in the fight against narcotics. Collective efforts are required towards making local and international borders impenetrable by drug traffickers and other criminals,” he said.

I WON'T GO:Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Leader Of IPOB Rejects Bail!! Says He Would Rather Die in Prison

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has rejected the bail granted to him on Tuesday.
According to Daily Post, a source close to him said that the IPOB leader had vowed to remain in Kuje prisons with his co-accused persons.
The Biafra agitator was granted bail on health grounds by Justice Binta Nyako. However, bail was refused his co-accused persons – Mazi Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Mazi Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
According to the top source, who put a call across to Daily Post,
”I just finished speaking with Kanu. He has vowed to remain at Kuje prisons pending when his co-accused persons are granted bail.
“He made it clear that these other three persons were arrested because of him (Nnamdi) and as such he can’t abandon them there.
“Nnamdi Kanu has, therefore, made it clear that he is ready to stay and die at Kuje Prisons.”
Meanwhile, IPOB has reacted to the bail conditions, describing them as childish.
In a statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of the group, Comrade Emma Powerful, he said the bail conditions were designed by politicians.
The statement reads:
“The indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB and it’s leadership worldwide commend those who put pressure on Nigerian Government and her judiciary to release our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in detention illegally since October 2015.
“The bail conditions which are most probably designed by politicians who are afraid of our leader’s popularity is too inhuman, childish and stringent.
“The oppressors are afraid of leader’s popularity and they hope to cage him through this funny bail condition, we are not excited, we demand the release of our members detained alongside him.
“It is unacceptable to the entire members of IPOB worldwide that the presiding judge Hon. Justice Binta Nyako attached condition towards the release of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

BREAKING NEWS: IPOB LEADER " NNAMDI KANU" HAS BEEN RELEASED ON BAIL FROM PRISON

The leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu who was granted bail this morning by Justice Nyako on health grounds. Has finally been released from prison on bail. Here are some of his bail conditions ;
*Sureties with N1m each. 😨😨😨 He must deposit all his international passport in court.

Ghen Ghen See Gbege: LandLord Beats Wife to DEATH in Lagos and flees

The people of Olomu, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State are in shock after a landlord in the community, Omolaja Sodipo, allegedly stabbed his wife, Titilayo, killing her.
Sympathisers, friends and family members of the mother of four, trooped to their bungalow on Monday, where Titilayo laid in her own pool of blood.

The cruel husband was said to have fled 💃the scene after perpetuating the evil act. 

Community leaders reportedly alerted policemen👮👮 from the Owutu division, who removed the corpse and deposited it in a mortuary.
PUNCH correspondent, who visited the scene, observed residents discussing the incident. The police had locked up the building.
Although most of the neighbours refused to comment on the tragedy, PUNCH Metro gathered that the couple had been married for over seven years.
The relationship was said to be fraught with disagreements, which usually resulted in domestic violence.
A resident, who did not want to be identified, said the disagreements always bordered on the welfare of their four children.
He said, “They came into this community some years ago after building their house. The man, who was formerly dealing in telephone accessories, had been jobless for some time. His wife worked with a private school after giving birth to their fourth child two years ago.

“But they were always at loggerheads, which led to the man beating up the wife. The man is short-tempered and it appeared the frustration of his joblessness also got into him. We always heard their voices anytime they were quarrelling.
“Last night, we heard them fighting again. In the morning, we discovered that the woman had been stabbed in different parts of her body. She was lying lifeless in a pool of blood.”
A community leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim’s mother lamented that her daughter had been complaining that her husband was always beating her.
A female resident, who did not want to be identified, told PUNCH Metro that she sighted the suspect walking away  from the house around 8am.🌗

PUNCH Metro learnt that the eldest of the couple’s four children is only five years old.😨😨 WHICH IS QUITE YOUNG CONSIDERING THEY HAVE 4 KIDS...DID SHE GIVE BIRTH YEARLY??? 
A member of the Women Arise for Change Initiative, Obatungashe Adebayo, who spoke for the President, Dr Joe Oke-Odumakin, called for justice for the deceased, urging women in violent relationship to quit before it was too late.
He said, “This is the reason we have been campaigning against gender-based violence. It is becoming rampant. Marriage is not by force. It is certain that before this incident happened, the woman must have been seeing signs that the man could take her life. If you are engaged in a relationship that threatens your life, you should quit.” BETTER STILL RUN FOR YOUR LIFE....
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said, “We are still searching for the man. The woman’s corpse has been deposited in a morgue for autopsy.”

DUPE ALERT: Man Successfully Duped Two US Ladies of N600,000 While Impersonating Ooni Of Ife

One  Abiodun Joseph, who is a very notorious internet fraudster aka * Yahoo Boy* has been arrested after he impersonated the ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi via a Facebook Account, and duped two Nigerian ladies based in the United States of America of various sums of money. This is becoming a common trend and fortunately most of them are being caught these days thanks to 👮👮👮

Joseph who was apprehended by men of the Ogun state police 👮command last Wednesday, April 19th at Ilese confessed to the crime. He says he used the Ooni’s pictures on his Facebook account, and in no time, Ladies started sending him friend requests, with many comment about his good looks and them wanting to be his “Oloris”… and of course, this was how he was able to defraud them. * Ladies No dey Use Eye see Rich Man these days lol*

“But in our chats, I told them that they have to pay some money if they are really interested in being my Oloris. Two of them based in the U.S fell for the scam and sent some money totaling N600,000 to me through money transfer mode” he said.

He went further to disclose that the ladies were really desperate, as some of them sent nude pictures, 😨😨😨showing their breasts and private parts. Joseph, however, said one of ladies had demanded that he should buy her a N45m house for her.
But Joseph said he told her that she had to pay N5m out of the amount and he would make up the balance for her. He was still waiting for that N5m last Wednesday before the police 👮swooped on his residence and arrested him.
Reacting to this, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said Joseph had been using his Facebook and Whatsapp accounts to dupe unsuspecting members of the public. Joseph said he opened the Facebook account October last year, purposely to defraud people.
