Ooni Of Ife Reaveals When He Will Speak On The Crash If His Marriage.. See Nigerian's Reaction

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has said his official reaction to his crashed marriage to former Olori Wuraola will soon be made public.

Speaking in a telephone chat with the Nigerian Tribune, the Director of Media and Public Affairs to the Ooni, Comrade Moses Olafare, stated that:

“In this era of social media, where people have free access to internet, as constitutionally permitted by laws of the land, people can say anything.”

“Inspite of all being said on the issue, decorum still requires that we in the House of Oduduwa maintains silence, at least for now.

“This is because marriage is strictly a private matter that should not subjected to undue public uproar. When it is necessary for us to talk, we will surely talk on the issue,” Olafare said.

Former Olori Wuraola, in an Instagram post on  Wednesday confirmed that her marriage to ooni has crashed.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has said that anyone who attempts to arrest him in Biafra land will die.

An aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has crashed, killing a pilot who was the only officer on board, a spokesperson  announced.

The accident occurred in Kaduna on Thursday, the spokesman for the airforce, Olatokunbo Adesanya, said in a short statement.

Mr. Adesanya, an Air Commodore, said the cause of the crash was unknown. An investigation is underway.

Weird: 36-Year-Old Unemployed Man Stabs Mum As She Narrowly Escapes Death &Murders His Beloved Sister

A  son repeatedly stabbed his mother as she told him she loved him, an inquest has heard.

Melvin James, 36, launched the assault on Lynette James after fatally wounding his sister, Anne-Marie, at their flat in Wolverhampton.

Police were called and officers initially attempted to Taser the attacker before fleeing the high-rise, 'terrified' for their lives.

Giving a harrowing account, Mrs James said she was about to have a shower when she heard Anne-Marie call out to her.


Her evidence, read by Black Country senior coroner Zafar Siddique, said: 'I sensed and felt something was seriously wrong.

'I decided to run into the lounge and call the concierge from the phone. I saw Melvin by the kitchen and he ripped the phone off the wall.'

She added: 'His eyes were red, fixed and he was staring at me. He plunged the knife into me, again and again.

'I said, "I love you, son".'
She fled to the bathroom, locking the door and ringing 999 to tell police she had been stabbed and feared she was 'slipping away'.

The mother-of-four added: 'I said "I'm going to die, my son has stabbed me and my daughter is on the floor".'

Mrs James, then 59, described how the weekend before, her son and daughter were 'happy and laughing'.

But the night before the incident, unemployed Mr James was in a 'strange mood'.

The next morning, Mrs James noticed her son had opened all the windows and appeared 'hot and sweating'.

She and her daughter 'agreed something was wrong with Melvin... and I said we'll go see my doctor and get some advice'.

Police were initially called after a neighbour reported 'horrific sounds' from the flat, with Mrs James's panicked call coming soon after.

The response officers first on the scene Tasered and then batoned Mr James but were forced to retreat.

Specialist armed units rushed to the tower block, and smashed a hole in the door large enough to squeeze through - throwing two stun grenades through the opening.

But as one officer managed to step inside, he recoiled as a blood-spattered Mr James came along the flat's hallway towards them carrying a knife.

PC Panter, of West Midlands Police, told the inquest: 'I put my (weapon) selector to 'fire', my finger on the trigger. I was almost certain I would have to take a shot.'

But the officer said he then decided to take the less-lethal option.

'So, I dropped my carbine, drew my Taser, and took the shot.'

While Mr James was down, other armed officers rushed in to disarm and then handcuff him.

As police turned him over, they noticed his 'serious abdominal injuries' and handed him over to medics.

The inquest, in Oldbury, West Midlands, also heard from younger brother Leon James.

In February 2017 he collected his older brother from hospital in Scotland, after an admission for a 'medical episode', and brought him back to live at Mrs James' home.

Mr Siddique said: 'He was taken to the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, initially as a voluntary patient.

'He made some progress and was discharged on February 10, with a diagnosis of drug-induced psychosis.'

The inquest continues. Just sad.

Evil Pastor: Police Exhumes Human Parts In Church, Prophet Arrested

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a prophet, Samuel Babatunde, and three others, in connection with the discovery of suspected human parts allegedly buried inside a church.

Babatunde is the founder of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Itedo Isinmi Ayo parish, Egan Road, in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota, in the Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the 77-year-old on Wednesday in his church at Ota.

Iliyasu said the startling discovery followed the arrest of a suspected serial kidnapper, Jeremiah Adeola, last Saturday, August 12. He said the suspect specialised in kidnapping children and had confessed that Babatunde was the receiver of the abducted children.


The police boss explained that another suspect, Haruna Afolabi, an herbalist, was among the suspects who allegedly buried the human parts at the entrance of the church.

Iliyasu said the lid was blown off their nefarious activities last Sunday when operatives attached to the Ota Area Command received an intelligence report about Adeola and eventually apprehended him.

He said, “On the strength of the intelligence, detectives from the Ota Area Command were detailed to effect the arrest of the suspect. At about 10.20am of the date, their efforts paid off when the said Jeremiah Adeola was arrested.

“On interrogation, he confessed to being a serial kidnapper and mentioned the name of the prophet as the receiver of the kidnapped children.

“Upon his revelation, he was taken to the church of the said prophet at Iyana-Iyesi Ota, where 77-year-old Samuel Babatunde, the man in charge of the church, and one Haruna Afolabi, a 42-year-old traditional worshipper, were arrested.

“The floor of the church was dug as described by the first suspect, and suspected human parts were brought out.”

Iliyasu, however, said forensic examination would be done on the exhibits.

He added that all those found culpable would be brought to book, warning criminals to steer clear of the state.

While speaking with journalists, Babatunde denied the allegation levelled against him.

He, however, confessed that a pig was buried alive inside the church, as opposed to human parts.

He said he buried the pig “to bring good fortune, prosperity and comfort to the congregation of the church.”

While saying he founded the church in 2005, Babatunde expressed regret over the incident, which he blamed on the devil.

He said though he met Adeola at a prayer mountain in Ibadan, Oyo State, he never contracted him for human parts, claiming that the alleged serial kidnapper had a  mental problem.

But Adeola insisted that the prophet was the receiver of some kidnapped children, arguing that the cleric paid N50,000 for each of the two children he supplied to him recently.

“I get out the car and I’m looking for the keys and somebody yelled and she yells out her door, ‘Help, he’s trying to kill me.'”

Chris took his bags from the car and told the singer to drive home, adding: “By this time her lip was busted she had a knock because I’d pushed her head up against the window.

“A lot of the times, I look back at that picture and I think ‘that’s not me bro, that’s not me’.

“I hate it to this day, that’s going to haunt me for ever.”

Chris also revealed their relationship had become violent before that night after he first told Rihanna about the other woman, saying: “She hated me after that. I tried everything.

“She didn’t care, she just didn’t trust me after that. From there, it just went downhill because it would be fights, it would be verbal fights, physical fights as well.

Ozubulu Massacre:Vice President Sends Five Ministers To Anambra State

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, is sending a five-man Federal Governmentdelegation to Anambra State to visit and condole with the government and people of the state over last Sunday’s attack on worshippers at the St. Philips Catholic Church in Ofufe-Amakwa, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Saturday.

According to Akande, the delegation is made up of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige; Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jibril; and the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Anthony Anwuka.


He said during the visit, the delegation would present a condolence letter from the Acting President to the state governor, Willie Obiano.

He added that Osinbajo, in the letter, extended commiserations to the families, friends of the victims and the Ozubulu community on the death of their sons and daughters and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured still in the hospital.

He further quoted the Acting President as condemning the attack which has brought sorrow to many innocent families and, has rightly provoked widespread condemnation.

“Such barbaric act constitutes an affront to our common humanity, and challenges, but will not overwhelm our collective resolve to rid our communities of all forms of violent crimes and criminality,” Akande quoted from Osinbajo’s letter to the governor.

The Acting President said the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari remained undeterred and would continually commit to deploying all available resources towards ensuring adequate security of lives and property in Anambra State and across the entire country.

Osinbajo said he had instructed law enforcement agencies to bring perpetrators of the crime to justice without any delay.

He said he would remain engaged with Obiano, the police authorities and other security agencies to ensure that the lives and property of citizens of the state and all Nigerians are well protected anywhere they may live.
