Kiddies: Simple Healthy Meals For Your Babies
HEALTH BENEFITS OF BANANA
BANANA FOR BABIES(4 months and above)
Banana is a convenient food for baby and you. When on the go you can simply peel off 1 banana, purée it and give to baby with or without formula or BREASTMILK.
PREPARATIONS:-
(1). Banana-cado (4 months and above)
1 ripe banana
1 ripe avocado
BREASTMILK or formula (optional)
Cut avocado and cut meat out
Cut into pieces
Peel banana and cut into pieces
Mash until very soft then feed your baby.
You can add formula or BREASTMILK (optional)
(2). Banapple (4 months and above)
1 ripe banana
1 fresh apple
BREASTMILK/formula/yoghurt (optional)
Peel and dice apple
Cook until soft
Cut banana
Pour both ingredients into a blender
Blend until very smooth
Add BREASTMILK/formula/yoghurt (optional)
Feed baby.
(3). Banana-rice pudding (8 months and above)
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup banana purée
Formula/BREASTMILK
Pinch of ginger and (or) cinnamon
Pour all ingredients into food processor and blend.
Make sure your baby is not allergic to any of the above ingredients mentioned. Do have a great day.
